A horse session typically involves a facilitator and a horse handler working with clients on the ground, with the aim/purpose to address identified goals (either personal development or treatment) through interacting with the horses.
-
Team approach.
Work is done with a qualified facilitator, a horse handler and a horse.
-
Focus on the ground.
EASTt work is done on the ground as this is considered safer and more beneficial for this type of coaching.
-
Solution orientated.
EASTt sessions work on the premise that the clients have their own solutions if they are offered the space and opportunity to find them. Thus the facilitator shows, reflects and interprets rather than directing.
